Excursion 1
Marrakech – Essaouira – Marrakech
Meet your driver at 8:30 am near your hotel or riad before departing to Essaouira. As you approach the Atlantic coast, the landscape and vegetation begin to change: vineyards and olive trees gradually give way to the famous argan trees. Along the road, you will pass through small towns and local trading areas. After Chichaoua, the road continues through curves and open landscapes until suddenly the ocean appears. From the hills surrounding Essaouira, you can enjoy beautiful panoramic views of the bay and the city. Upon arrival, the ancient medina welcomes you with its historic walls shaped by salt and ocean winds. Take a relaxing walk through the charming white streets with blue doors, picturesque corners, and architectural details influenced by Portuguese style. The fortified walls overlooking the rocky coastline and Atlantic waves create a peaceful and unforgettable atmosphere. Following the sound of the seagulls, you can reach the lively port area, where you can admire the long beach stretching along the city. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech.
Excursion 2
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Marrakech
Meet your driver at 8:00 am near your hotel or riad and begin your journey towards southern Morocco. Leaving the plains behind, the road gradually climbs into the High Atlas Mountains, reaching the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2260 meters above sea level. Along the way, you will pass through traditional villages and local trading areas that reflect the authentic daily life of the region. The landscapes constantly change, offering beautiful colors, unique rock formations, and impressive mountain scenery. From the pass, the road descends toward the famous Ksar of Aït Ben Haddou, a remarkable example of traditional fortified architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987. From the viewpoint, the Ksar appears majestically on a sandstone hill beside the Ounila River. Crossing the modern village on foot, you reach the entrance of the ancient fortified settlement. Walking through its maze of narrow streets, decorated kasbahs, clay arches, and traditional buildings, you will discover the charm and history of this iconic location. The path leads to the old granary at the top of the hill, once used as the final defensive point during attacks. After the visit, return by car to Marrakech while enjoying more breathtaking landscapes along the route. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the late afternoon.
Excursion 3
Marrakech – Asni- Marrakech
Meet your driver at 9:00 am near your hotel or riad before departing towards Tahannaout. The road to Asni climbs gradually into the High Atlas Mountains through beautiful valleys, plateaus, and breathtaking landscapes. The contrast between the red earth, green vegetation, and deep blue sky creates unforgettable scenery along the route. As you travel through the Berber villages, you can observe the traditional daily life of the local people. Their adobe houses, built with straw and clay, blend naturally into the valley and give the impression that time has stood still in these peaceful mountain areas. Crossing the Rherhaia Gorges, you arrive at Asni, a charming Berber village located at 1150 meters above sea level and dominated by Jebel Toubkal (4160m), the highest peak in North Africa. Every Saturday, the village hosts a lively traditional market filled with fruit and vegetable sellers, domestic animals, and donkeys. During the excursion, you will visit a Berber family and experience the traditional Moroccan tea ceremony before continuing the journey along the northern side of Jebel Toubkal toward the village of Setti Fatma. After a short stop, the return to Marrakech begins through the beautiful Ourika Valley, following the Oued river of the same name. Arrival in Marrakech is expected in the afternoon.
Excursion 4
Marrakech – Ouzoud waterfalls – Marrakech
Meet your driver at 8:30 am near your hotel or riad and depart towards the northeast, passing through Beni Mellal on the way to the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains. Upon arrival at the village of Ouzoud, located at an altitude of 1500 meters, you will leave the vehicle and continue on foot along scenic walking paths surrounding the famous Ouzoud Waterfalls, the highest waterfalls in North Africa. The Ouzoud River cascades down more than 110 meters over a series of rocky cliffs before reaching the canyon of the El-Abid River below. Following the path, you can walk close to the impressive waterfalls, enjoy the refreshing atmosphere, and admire the natural beauty of the area. You may continue along the riverbanks for a peaceful stroll or relax beside the water. Another trail leads to panoramic viewpoints offering spectacular views over the waterfalls and surrounding landscapes. In the afternoon, return to Marrakech.
Excursion 5
Marrakech – Ourika Valley – Marrakech
Meet your driver at 9:00 am near your hotel or riad and depart towards the beautiful Ourika Valley, located about 70 km from Marrakech at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains. Crossing a landscape of cultivated fields and traditional villages, you arrive at the village of Tnine de l’Ourika, where the valley’s famous weekly souk takes place every Monday. Along the route, you will discover spectacular scenery and the authentic daily life of Berber villages built with red earth on the mountain slopes. Following the Oued Ourika River, which flows throughout the year, you will enjoy the refreshing atmosphere created by poplar and willow trees lining the riverbanks. During springtime, almond and cherry blossoms add beautiful colors to the valley. Upon reaching the village of Setti Fatma, the road comes to an end. From there, you may choose to enjoy a guided walk of around two hours through nature to discover the famous waterfalls of the area. In the early afternoon, return by car to Marrakech.
Excursion 6
Marrakech – Oukaimden- Marrakech
Meet your driver at 9:00 am near your hotel or riad before departing towards Oukaimeden. Located about 75 km from Marrakech at an altitude of 2650 meters, Oukaimeden is one of the most beautiful mountain destinations in Morocco, surrounded by snow-capped peaks, valleys, and traditional Berber villages. During the winter season (January to March), visitors can rent ski equipment, book ski lessons, and enjoy the snowy slopes of the surrounding mountains. You can also take the chairlift to admire the breathtaking panoramic views of the Atlas Mountains. Nature lovers will appreciate the peaceful atmosphere and spectacular landscapes, while in summer the area becomes an ideal starting point for hiking and mountain walks. History enthusiasts can also discover ancient rock carvings dating back to the Bronze Age scattered around the region. Return to Marrakech is scheduled for the end of the afternoon.
